Gotta love it!
Gotta love it!
This morning on CNBC Rick Santelli openly called for revolution against the administration on air. Speaking from the trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade he openly voiced his frustrations and thoughts of the Obama Administration’s Stimulus plan, while being cheered on by the traders on the floor.
“The Government is promoting bad behavior because we certainly don’t want to put stimulus forth and give people a whopping eight or ten dollars in their check and think they ought to save it. In terms of modifications, I have an idea. The new administration is big on computers and technology, how ’bout this new president and administration. Why don’t you put up a website to have people vote on the internet as a referendum to see if we really want to subsidize the loser’s mortgages.”
The prior quote drew applause and cheers from the workers on the floor while the Joe Kernen attempted to dismiss the the applause calling the workers “putty in your hands.” Check the video out yourself and enjoy the dissent being brought forth on television.
This is what White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had to say about it.
“I do believe that there will be people in districts all over the country that will wonder why, when there’s a good bill to get the economy moving again, why we still seem to be playing political gotcha,” Gibbs said.
First of all, thank god someone is doing their jobs protecting the tax payers from corrupt tyrants.
Second, wtf is this “political gotcha”. What exactly are the dems trying to put over on us that the republicans are getting them on? I smell a rat, and I don’t like it one bit.
MoveOn has plans to start an ad campaign to squelch political dissent to the Democrats plans.
I have to say I respect the Republicans for finally taking a stand on something. Of course the Dems don’t need the Republican vote to pass a damned thing, so what does it matter. We are going to see a huge propaganda campaign against any politician that doesn’t tow the party line. I’m furious.
The perfect storm is here, batten down the hatches.

Here’s a nice little video of Ron Paul on MSNBC this morning talking about the economy in real terms, not some fantasy economy.
Is always a pleasure to watch Ron Paul on the 24 Hour News Networks. They react like common sense is crazy talk.
Out here in the bright sunny state of California we have ourselves a severe budget crisis. Instead of our elected representatives fixing this problem they choose to squabble back and forth. Republicans want to cut services, Democrats want to raise taxes, however due to California’s two thirds majority voting, the two sides can never come to an agreement. State Controller, John Chiang, has announced that state tax refunds, welfare, and disability payments will begin being delayed by thirty days as of February 1st. California is already drowning in our own debt and all our elected officials can do is bicker back and forth like school children. Come to think of it, the Governator suggested that our state representatives work for free as of June in his State of the State address last night. This was met by silence from our fine elected representatives.
Our state’s citizens are being punished by our representatives who can do little more then squabble back and forth. Sadly most of the people who will end up complaining about this situation insist on pointing fingers at the governor, instead of the real culprits, their elected representatives. Still do this day it amazes me on this prior ballot we can have issues to limit the amount of animals on a farm, take away the right to marriage from the gays and pass a $10 Billion Proposition to build a high speed rail, yet we can’t balance a god damned budget. Perhaps our citizens will wake up one of these days, and hold their representatives accountable for driving our state into the ground.
