As much as I bitch about the Obamadministration you’d think I was some bible thumping neocon. WRONG. I enjoy spreading the hate and dissension around to both sides of the political spectrum, and perhaps my favorite target ever is the fascist Neoconservatives. The best example of a mouthpiece of the neocon movement may very well be Mr. Sean Hannity. Sean, please enlighten us with some of your brilliant debate skills:
Remember kids, when you can’t win a civil debate with facts and reasoning it is always best to raise your voice and talk over your adversary. Not only will you believe you win, but you also look like a total asshat. As much as I hate the bailout in it’s every form, Rep. Sestak is correct in every thing he says. It’s not in the bill, and it’s purely speculation, conspiracy theory if you will. In fact Mr. Hannity, you sound just like those conspiracy theorists you enjoy yelling over to prove you’ve won.
It appears Obama and his pawn, err Attorney General Eric Holder are gearing up to push yet another “Assault Weapon” ban on the United States. Please note that “Assault Weapon” will always appear in quotations when I address the chicken shit nomenclature. Back on track, keep in mind the reasoning behind this new call for a ban isn’t because of our homeland issues, instead it’s to help Mexico ebb the recent drug cartel violence. We’ve seen how well gun bans work with Chicago’s violent crime rate, the very city in which Obama has been trained in. Instead of the Obamadministration giving a legitimate reason to take away our legally owned guns, they choose to tie it to Mexico. The US State Department released a travel alert to Mexico on February 20th stating:
Some recent Mexican army and police confrontations with drug cartels have resembled small-unit combat, with cartels employing automatic weapons and grenades. Large firefights have taken place in many towns and cities across Mexico but most recently in northern Mexico, including Tijuana, Chihuahua City and Ciudad Juarez. During some of these incidents, U.S. citizens have been trapped and temporarily prevented from leaving the area.
The murders and crime in Mexico are no surprise yet Mr. Holder seems to think our lack of a federal assault weapons ban is what is causing this crime. Holder, speaking of the proposed assault weapons ban:
“I think that will have a positive impact in Mexico, at a minimum.” Holder added, “I met yesterday with Attorney General Medina Mora of Mexico, and we discussed the unprecedented levels of violence his country is facing because of their enforcement efforts. It’s something, as I said, that the president talked about during the campaign,” he said. “There are obviously a number of things that are — that have been taking up a substantial amount of his time, and so, I’m not sure exactly what the sequencing will be.”
Apparently our “Assault Weapons” and Grenades our shipped en masse across our border to Mexico. Nevermind the plethora of unstable countries in Central as well as South America. They are all coming from here, all of the Fully Automatic rifles and grenades that can legally be purchased in the good ol’ USA. Idiots.
Here’s a novel idea Mr. Holder as well as the Obamadministration. Instead of being pussies and blaming lack of gun legislation on violence occuring in foreign countries, why don’t you just come out and tell the truth that you would like to take our guns away from us so there will be no resistance when you take the rest of our liberties away and enact you’re socialist agenda. It’s worked so well in the past!
Senator Byrd has called President Obama’s appointment of “czars” a power grab, and by all means I do believe he is right. These “czars” are not vetted by the Senate and enjoy executive privilege, this could lead to problems due to the lack of legislative oversight. Interesting that Senator Byrd would turn on the Chosen One.
I doubt it will be lost on any Obama supporters that Senator Byrd is a former Klansman. He certainly has a legitimate argument, but the left will beat him down as a racist.
Upon originally learning that a Total War game that was based in the 18th and 19th century I could barely contain myself. Who couldn’t love warfare carried out with black powder guns and bayonets on land while sailing ships duel on sea with a full broadside of cannons? Now the day draws near for the final game to be released upon the masses, but first, a demo has been released so all can get a taste of the game before the release. Sadly this demo may leave anything but a good taste in the new player’s mouth. Before the Total War crowd, let me say that the Total War game-play is totally there, and I love it to death, but this demo has some major issues in it’s performance and the plethora of bugs in game.
Republican Representative, John Linder, and forty four other Representatives have introduced H.R. 25: Fair Tax Act of 2009. In short this piece of legislation who get rid of the Federal Income Tax as well as the IRS, and would use a flat rate sales tax that’s imposed by each individual state. Not only does this make sense, but it’s also a win-win situation, it removes the tiered, complicated Income Tax system, reduces government spending by ridding ourselves of the IRS, and finally delegates the roll of collection to individual states. We get rid of the sham known as the IRS and fall back more on the 10th Amendment, who could argue?
For one, the left will be the first to play the “Burdens the Low Income Families” card. However once said card is played, it can be instantly rebutted by pointing out that said liberanazi should read Chapter 3 of the Bill and also reminding them that the majority of states in the US do not place an income tax on unprepared food and prescription medication, the only two neccesities of life that are purchased in such a way that a tax might be applicable. These two justifications completely null the “progressive” argument against a fair tax.
Furthermore, this bill would also be a key in dealing with the problem of illegal immigration milking our public systems. Illegal immigrants in this country have a very large amount of purchasing power and disposable income, however as of now very few pay a tax of any kind. By implying a flat rate sales tax on goods purchased these illegal immigrants will now also be contributing taxes to our governments coffers.
As anyone reading this should be able to tell, I vehemently support a flat rate sales tax that applies to all who make purchases. It’s fair, it makes sense, and most importantly it rids us of yet another government agency. Contact your local represeantives so we can hopefully see this bill make progress.
